Hiccup

We posted so many great new items that Etsy broke!
Unfortunately, Etsy is currently experiencing a minor technical difficulty and posting on the site is down. We still have a few new items to list, including the Lilac Dishcloth Set we featured in our last blog post, which we will be posting early this week once the site is back up and running. In the meantime, stop by the shop and check out what we got up before Etsy went down!

Can you Blo for a Mo?

Yes, it’s only September, which means NaBloPoMo is two months away yet. But we’ve watched the summer slip by us, and if that’s any indication of how quickly the holidays are going to be creeping up us…we’d like to be prepared. So here are some things that Stagnant Gypsy has been putting together to help the shop be ready for the holidays:

Listing Frenzy
On September 12, 2010 we will be adding a bunch of new items to the shop! This includes OOAK music magnets, new button sets, and new colour patterns for our existing items such as the fleur-de-lis magnets and dishcloth sets. We will also be online most of the day listing these items and promoting the shop, so visit us on Facebook or convo us at the shop and say hi! Below is a sneak peak photo of one of the new sets that will be available on the 12th!

Facebook 500 fan giveaway
We really appreciate the networking opportunities that come with having an online shop, and would like to thank those of you who have supported us over the past few months. Currently we are just shy of 400 Facebook fans, and have decided that when we reach 500 there will be a giveaway! Stay tuned for more information on the giveaway; we will provide readers with more information as we get closer to the 500 fan mark.

NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month)
We are up for the NaBloPoMo challenge! And a challenge it will be. Between keeping up with our studies and keeping the shop stocked with new (and staple) items, some days we will be hard pressed to squeeze out a blog post or two. That said, we enjoy reading the blogs of our favourite artists and crafters, and hope that participating in this event will allow us to reach out to readers and bloggers alike.

Red and White (and Blue)

In honor of Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4), we’ve introduced a new line of patriotic dishcloths and dryer sheets!
For our American fans, we have two dishcloth sets for the Fourth of July in lovely red, white, and blue, as well as two matching dryer sheet sets.
For our Canadian fans, we have a Canada Day dishcloth set featuring red and white cloths, and a matching dryer sheet set.

Spring Sale

Our dishcloths are taking off! Reusable and eco-friendly, uses for our fluffy dishcloths are endless. Wash your dishes, wipe down your kitchen, use in the bath for a spa-like experience, and much, much more.
Four new dishcloth sets were posted this morning – the Keylime and Lime Set (one of our most popular sets), the new Neptune Blue Set, the bright and summery Creamsicle Set,  and the funky Neon Garden Set (pictured above).
We also introduced a new item to our roster, the Sky Blue Dish Scrubbie. Great for washing dishes and cleaning around the house, this scrubbie’s extra thick grooves are tough enough to break through grime yet gentle on your hands and won’t scratch your dishes.
Keep an eye out for new dishcloths sets, as well as some new dryer sheet sets in the days to come!
